Today, the cause of most health problems including heart disease, cancer, diabetes, hypertension, anxiety, depression, asthma, obesity and many others, stem from our lifestyle habits, of which stress tops the list. Other poor lifestyle habits include lack of exercise, poor diet, insufficient sleep, and use of tobacco, drugs, and alcohol.

The StressWell Clinic is designed to help you with understanding how stress affects your body and teaches practical ways to cope with stress. A positive lifestyle and nutritional medicine approach is used instead of other traditional methods of the past.

This program is for everyone. It’s for those who currently have stress related disorder like anxiety, depression, insomnia, indigestion and for those with chronic diseases like diabetes, heart disease, cancer, migraine headaches, hypertension and obesity. You can benefit also if you have difficulty sleeping, concentrating or just relaxing. At StressWell you can also learn how to use natural methods instead of dependence on drugs for relaxation.

What to expect?

StressWell Clinic is designed to meet once a week for four weeks, typically on Tuesday afternoons from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Registration and reservations are required by calling the front desk staff, at the SDA Wellness Center, 647-7520. Please ask for the next program schedule and payment arrangement. Some insurance coverage may be available depending on your plan.
